Industry-leading OPV company settles in Huangpu

The leading domestic enterprise in Organic Photovoltaics (OPV), Guangzhou Chasing Light Technology Company, recently signed an agreement to settle in the Kaitou Zhixing Industrial Space in Huangpu district and Guangzhou High-Tech district.

Guangzhou Chasing Light Technology Company is the first domestic company focusing on the large-scale production of OPV materials and modules, and it holds the record for the highest efficiency in light-to-electricity conversion among global single-junction organic photovoltaic devices.

The organization has developed multiple light-active donor and acceptor materials, alongside efficient and stable device structures and processes.

The company's independently developed OPV device laboratory has attained an efficiency certification of 19.92 percent, thereby upholding the world record for two consecutive years.

Located at No 9 Xinrui Road in Guangzhou Science City, the Kaitou Zhixing Industrial Space covers an area of approximately 85,000 square meters and is positioned as an intelligent automotive industry space. It is dedicated to integrating the automotive industry's electrification, networking, and intelligence, strengthening its supply chain.

This industrial space is set to focus on the integrated high-quality development of the research, technology, production processing, construction assembly, and service operation industries.

It is expected to provide excellent support for the research and large-scale production of organic photovoltaic modules, driving breakthroughs in the industrialization of novel photovoltaic technologies in Guangzhou High-Tech district.
