Recently, there have been new developments in two industrial parks in Huangpu district.
The first open area of Low Altitude Economy Industrial Park has passed the review. Located in the planned 5 square kilometers Low Altitude Economy Industrial Park in the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, the interactive development of the two parks is expected to support low-altitude application scenarios across the district, creating a low-altitude economic industrial ecosystem.
The first open area is on the west side of North Park, following the "production in the north, research and development in the south" strategy, focusing on the production hub, with a planned total land area of approximately 2.5 square kilometers.
Here, the Low Altitude Aircraft Intelligent Manufacturing Center is poised to be established, integrating functions such as integrated manufacturing, test flight verification, and services. Additionally, an 800-meter dedicated test flight verification runway has been planned to meet the production testing needs of aircraft.

On the other hand, China Construction Science and Industry Corporation won the bid for the Guangzhou Disruptive Technology Innovation Industrial Park project, with a bid amount as high as 24.2 billion yuan ($3.4 billion).
This project covers an area of approximately 120,000 square meters.
It aims to create a disruptive technology operation platform and a global collaborative innovation acceleration platform. It is the high-end hub platform for the first disruptive technology innovation industrial park in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

It is hoped that constructing these parks is set to help Huangpu achieve a new leap in development.
