Guangzhou Knowledge City fuses nature and urban innovation

Guangzhou Knowledge City is poised for remarkable transformation, by blending natural landscapes with urban development.

It aspires to achieve a world-class standard by integrating a Chinese style, Bay Area characteristics, and Lingnan charm. The urban layout is designed around the ecological foundation of "Three Mountains, Two Lakes, and Three Rivers" and the spatial structure of "One Core, Two Centers, and Multiple Parks".

The district will feature a harmonious balance of mountains and water, creating an eco-friendly urban landscape. Key elements include Maofeng Mountain, Youma Mountain, and Fuhe Mountain as the district's backdrop, and Jiulong Lake and Phoenix Lake as ecological nodes.

The city will be divided into zones, each with unique characteristics. The Jiulong Lake Core Area will focus on efficient development around a transit-oriented development (TOD) hub, while Fengxia and Xinlong Sub-centers will integrate science, commerce, and business.

Guangzhou Knowledge City will establish industrial clusters based on the "One Valley, Multiple Parks" layout, fostering innovation and ecological technology. The focus will be on creating a vibrant, modern atmosphere with mixed-use spaces.
