The Maogang redevelopment project, located in the core functional area of Yuzhu within the Huangpu Port Economic Zone, consists of seven plots with a total land area of approximately 795,000 square meters and a post-reconstruction total building area of around 2.27 million sq m.
The reconstructed collective property spans about 350,000 sq m across three plots, with the topping-out ceremony taking place on a nearly 50,000 sq m plot located on the northern section of Maogang Road, where it intersects with Hulin Road and Guangyuan Expressway.
This project addresses business format deficiencies in the Huangpu Port Economic Zone and the Guangzhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Experimental Zone (Yuzhu area). It integrates retail stores, supermarkets, restaurants, cinemas, entertainment venues, and recreational facilities to provide residents convenient shopping and entertainment options.
Additionally, the project includes plans for commercial offices and apartment hotels, which will provide distinctive office and residential spaces to foster a high-quality community in the Huangpu Economic Zone. The business format planning for the reconstructed collective property is stable, with construction progressing smoothly and commercial activities underway.
As the project nears completion and begins operation, this modern commercial complex is poised to boost the district's economic prosperity.
