A tea culture enthusiast surnamed Zhang, attended the museum's opening and expressed his admiration, noting, "The exhibition hall is not only exquisitely designed but also displays a wealth of tea trade knowledge. Here, you can also invite a few friends to brew tea and chat."
The themed exhibitions extend from the first to the fourth floor of the museum, featuring a diverse array of displays, including tea introductions, fine tea exhibitions, and tea cultural history. These exhibits vividly illustrate the history and modern development of tea culture.
Visitors can learn about the types, characteristics, and production methods of tea from various perspectives such as origin, cultivation, craftsmanship, consumption, and trade. They can also explore the interconnectedness of Chinese tea culture and social livelihood across historical periods.
"From the dimensions of tea culture and tea trade, the museum has injected rich connotations into the creation of Guangzhou's cultural business card," said Liu Zhonghua, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and president of Hunan Normal University, in a video message.
