Doctoral students participate in 2024 Huangpu Innovation Camp

The 2024 Huangpu Innovation Institute Summer Camp recently concluded in Huangpu district. Under the theme "Understanding Innovation, Stepping into Entrepreneurship", the summer camp, welcomed 39 doctoral students from top universities to engage in learning and exchange within Guangzhou High-Tech Zone.

He Yuhong, deputy district chief, highlighted the district's rich historical heritage and outstanding innovation environment, which place it among the top in national economic development zones. He expressed his hope that the students attending the summer camp had a pleasant and enriching experience in Huangpu.

During the camp, students not only received specialized knowledge from experts in various fields such as integrated circuits, energy resources, and life sciences, but they also visited representative high-tech companies to learn about advanced technologies, operational models, and management concepts.

In recent years, Huangpu has established a strategic technology innovation platform cluster, spearheaded by the Guangzhou Laboratory and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area National Technology Innovation Center.

The region is home to over 1,000 research institutions, including half of the province's high-level innovation research institutes. This has led to a surge in the vitality of innovative enterprises, fostering a dynamic environment for science and technology innovation.

Huangpu will continue to work towards creating a conducive environment for talent growth and development, as well as providing strong support for high-quality regional development in the coming years.
