Huangpu's specialized industry cluster designated as demonstration zone

The new-generation communication equipment and terminal manufacturing industry cluster in Huangpu district, Guangzhou, was recently designated as a demonstration zone for national high-tech industry development.

This cluster brings together over 70 companies, including Comba Telecom Systems Company and Delton Technology, with an industrial total output value of around 20 billion yuan ($2.76 billion) in 2023.

In the field of small base stations, Comba Communication, a global leader in communication solutions, has ranked among the top three in the global market for nine years in a row, holding the top position in terms of domestic market share.

The cluster in Huangpu district continues to grow, nurturing 104 high-tech enterprises and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises.

Currently, Huangpu is accelerating the digital transformation of the cluster, establishing a new-generation international digital hub operation center and has launched the first point-to-point cross-border data special line, titled "Yue Xin Tong", in the South China region.

It is also speeding up the construction of the province's first internet of things and smart city demonstration area oriented towards 5G technology, promoting the integration of 5G with intelligent manufacturing, smart transportation, and smart cities in various fields.
