In July, construction in Guangzhou Development District (GDD) is advancing rapidly, with several projects reaching significant milestones.
The Huangpu Zhihui Industrial Base has completed its primary structure and is now moving into secondary construction, including electrical and interior work. Located in the core of Guangzhou Science City, this 50,000-square-meter site is set to feature six buildings, including five high-standard factories and an office building. It aims to serve as a hub for smart and advanced manufacturing, integrating research and development with light production and office spaces. The first two factories are expected to be operational by the end of the year.

Another key project, the Haige Tian Shu Research and Industrial Center, has also topped out. Situated on Haiyun Road in Guangzhou Science City, this facility covers 147,000 sq m and includes a 20-story building with four underground levels. It is anticipated to support Haige Communication's core businesses in wireless communication, Beidou navigation, and unmanned technology.

The Guangzhou University Huangpu Research Institute also recently passed a key inspection phase. With a total area of 393,100 sq m, it is poised to feature an international academic exchange center, a national-level tech incubator, and research facilities, fostering innovation and talent development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
