Top Huangpu companies rank in Fortune China 500

Several prominent companies from Huangpu district have been featured on the Fortune China 500 list.

China Southern Power Grid Company is a key State-owned enterprise under central management. It serves five provinces: Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou, and Hainan, connecting with Hong Kong, Macao, and Southeast Asia. The power supply area of the company covers an area of 1 million square kilometers, supplying power to 272 million people and 116 million customers.

China Southern Airlines Company is a major airline headquartered in Guangzhou, boasting the largest fleet, most extensive route network, and highest annual passenger volume in China. It has maintained the top position in passenger transport for 45 consecutive years.

Kingfa Science and Technology Company focuses on high-performance new materials, with headquarters in Guangzhou Science City and operations in South Asia, North America, and Europe. Its products, including modified plastics and biodegradable materials, reach over 130 countries, serving over 1,000 well-known global enterprises.

GF Securities Company is one of China's first comprehensive securities firms, listed on the Shenzhen and Hong Kong Stock Exchanges. By the end of 2023, it operated 349 branches nationwide, covering all provinces and municipalities.

Guangdong XPeng Motors Technology Company specializes in smart electric vehicles. Established in 2014, its sales and charging networks span most Chinese cities, with over 500 stores by March 2024. Xiaopeng is expanding globally, with R&D centers and production bases, including a facility in Guangzhou Knowledge City.
