Huangpu to establish cutting-edge technology innovation industrial park

A recent development plan update in Huangpu district includes the construction of a cutting-edge technology innovation industrial park, aiming to support Guangzhou Science City in becoming a globally influential "China Manufacturing Center".

The park will be located in the core area of Guangzhou Science City, adjacent to Luogang Metro Station, covering an area of 217,800 square meters with a planned construction volume of 871,100 sq m.

In the future, the park will connect with cutting-edge technology and disruptive technologies, and leverage the advantages of the eastern central manufacturing industry cluster to promote the in-depth integration of technology and industry, enhancing the quality of key industrial chains in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

To create a diverse and composite innovation space, the park will integrate both internally and externally to create a green, vibrant, and business-friendly space that combines technological research and development, creative exchanges, entrepreneurial incubation, and entertainment, enhancing the diversity of technology innovation carriers.

In order to establish an efficient transportation system, the area surrounding the park already features the Luogang Transfer Center for rail transportation, connecting Science City with Guangzhou East Railway Station, and Guangzhou South Railway Station.

Furthermore, the vicinity will introduce new facilities such as mountain trails and pedestrian overpasses to create a coherent pedestrian system, providing a safe and comfortable walking environment.
