Visitors pleased with Huangpu Park's stunning upgrades

Huangpu Park in Guangzhou recently underwent a comprehensive upgrade and emerged with a whole new look.

As a landmark in the heart of Guangzhou's Maritime Silk Road City, Huangpu Park has been a city icon of Huangpu district since its opening in 1999, bearing witness to the rapid urban development that has occurred since then.

The increasing number of residents and tourists in the vicinity prompted the Huangpu Greening and Park Management Center to add a children's play facilities, optimize plant arrangements, and expand rest areas. In order to enhance the quality of the park and the visitor experience, Huangpu Park launched a new round of optimization and enhancement efforts in March this year.

The upgrades primarily focused on enhancing the green landscape and adding relaxation platforms and children's sand pit. In terms of landscaping design, the park has incorporated plant combinations, flower mirrors, and various plant species to create a colorful natural landscape.

In terms of leisure and entertainment spaces, the park has expanded the children's activity area and added sand pits and handwashing facilities, providing children with a safer and more enjoyable play space.

Furthermore, the park has introduced new rest platforms, a science glasshouse, and other facilities. The science glasshouse showcases biodiversity and features a volunteer service point, providing residents with learning and volunteering opportunities.

Huangpu Park has been vitalized, offering visitors a better leisure experience and more learning opportunities.
