The government of Huangpu district, Guangzhou, recently reached a cooperation agreement with Guangzhou Dermatology Hospital to jointly establish the Huangpu Branch of the hospital.

Guangzhou Dermatology Hospital is a comprehensive specialized medical institution that integrates medical treatment, prevention, teaching, and research. The Huangpu Branch is located in the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, with a building area of approximately 25,000 square meters. It is planned to have no fewer than 10 first-level departments and no fewer than 20 second and third-level departments (including specialized departments).

The branch will enhance the medical standards in a number of fields, optimize the allocation of specialized medical and health resources in Huangpu, and establish a high-quality, multi-level specialized dermatology tertiary medical service system.

It is expected to strengthen the regional influence of Huangpu specialized hospitals and greatly improve the levels of dermatological diagnosis and treatment, skin health, and medical cosmetology.

Moreover, it will provide technical support for the biopharmaceutical industry in Huangpu and the Southern Beauty Valley industry, as well as promote the transformation of hospital patented technologies, establish a platform for testing and inspecting human cosmetics and skincare products, and support the research and development of new products for skincare, beauty, and treatment within the region.

The hospital will better meet the diverse medical and health needs of Huangpu residents, allowing them easier access to high-quality medical resources.
