Huangpu launches biomedical R&D import white list initiative

Huangpu district in Guangzhou recently issued the Guangzhou Development District Biomedical Research and Development Import "White List" Pilot Work Plan, marking the establishment of Guangdong's first import "white list" system for biomedical R&D materials. 

This initiative aims to streamline the approval process and enhance the efficiency of importing materials for biomedical research institutions. Notably, items on the 'white list' are exempt from providing an "Import Medicine Clearance Form."

This measure is expected to revolutionize the import management model of materials, breaking through existing constraints and offering greater convenience to local enterprises and research institutions. Its implementation is anticipated to foster high-quality development within the regional biomedical industry.

Moreover, Huangpu will encourage more enterprises to participate in the plan, accelerating the implementation of reform and innovation outcomes, thereby bolstering the industry's research, development, and innovation capacities.
