Huangpu district in Guangzhou celebrates a new milestone in transportation development as the Changjian Second Road (formerly the Western Extension of Changping Road) opened to traffic on Jan 19, stretching 1.75 kilometers.
This development significantly eases traffic congestion in the Changlingju area, enhances the road network, and invigorates urban vitality.
In tandem, the Zengcheng-Tianhe Expressway project has achieved crucial progress with the successful installation of the first prefabricated box girder on the Gaotianling Bridge. This signals the full-scale commencement of this section. Spanning approximately 38.4 km, the Zengtian Expressway is a key project for Guangdong province, with completion slated for December 2025.
This expressway will effectively alleviate east-west traffic pressure and shorten travel distances from Huangpu to districts like Tianhe, Baiyun, and Zengcheng, significantly enhancing regional connectivity and propelling economic growth.
With the steady progress of these projects, Huangpu's transportation network is poised for remarkable improvements, injecting fresh momentum into residents' commutes and regional development.
