The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province recently announced the list for the sixth batch of provincial-level industrial design centers in Guangdong province. Huangpu district stood out remarkably, with 12 enterprises selected, the highest number among all districts in Guangzhou.
Industrial design is an innovative and essential activity that integrates engineering, aesthetics, and economics to maximize product value and enhance corporate competitiveness. The recognition as a provincial-level industrial design center signifies that these enterprises excel in innovation and standardization in industrial design.
Huangpu has gathered four national-level, 38 provincial-level, and 56 municipal-level industrial design centers, becoming a new engine for high-quality development in the region's industrial economy.
Huangpu actively promotes integrating industrial design with the manufacturing industry, constructing a national demonstration base for new industrialization (industrial design), and creating a new industrial culture industry cluster.
Looking forward, Huangpu will continue to leverage the demonstrative role of provincial-level industrial design centers, increase construction investment, and continuously enhance design capabilities.
