Recently, Huangpu district of Guangzhou has topped off three major key projects, encompassing Phase II of the Aviation Tyre Science Center, the Greater Bay Area Specialized and New Industrial Park (incubator for intelligent and advanced manufacturing), and Phase II of China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City International Innovation Drive Center.
Each project reflects the rapid progress of Guangzhou in technological innovation and industrial development.
The Phase II project of the Aviation Tyre Science Center, located in CSGKC, covers a total construction area of about 180,000 square meters. This project aims to create a science center integrating research, production, and living facilities.
The Greater Bay Area Specialized and New Industrial Park project, with a planned total construction area of about 320,000 sq m, is dedicated to intelligent and advanced manufacturing. The project is designed to cultivate core automotive component enterprises in key areas like intelligent cockpits, LiDAR, automotive-grade chips, and high-precision maps.
It aims to build an intelligent manufacturing and advanced manufacturing park that integrates large-scale production, R&D testing, and headquarters offices, contributing to Guangzhou's ambition to become a global "Smart Auto City."
With a total construction area of about 190,000 sq m, the Phase II project of the CSGKC International Innovation Drive Center consists of two buildings and their podiums. It will serve as a national benchmark industrial park upon completion, integrating innovation R&D platforms, economic offices, and high-end talent services.
It aims to create a first-class innovation-driven development demonstration area in Guangdong, leading nationally and renowned internationally, thereby boosting the high-tech and innovative industrial development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The smooth progress of these key projects demonstrates Huangpu's construction speed and heralds the promising future of high-quality development in the area. These projects, once completed and operational, are expected to inject new vitality into the development of Huangpu.
