Huangpu science center leads in tech breakthroughs, innovation

Located in Huangpu district, the Aviation Tire Science Center is the most advanced flight takeoff and landing dynamics research facility in China and serves as a base for bionic synthetic rubber research. 

The Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences proposed a revolutionary bionic synthetic rubber project, which will be jointly developed with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Research Institute of the CAS Aerospace Information Research Institute. This project will address the long-standing reliance on foreign aviation tire products. 

The center has made significant breakthroughs in the domestication of aviation tire technology, mastering 41 core technologies.

Currently, Huangpu has gathered over 1, 000 research institutions, and its research and development intensity has reached internationally advanced levels.

In the future, Huangpu will continue to support self-reliance in terms of science and technology, thus driving more breakthroughs and accelerating innovation.
