Updated : 2023-12-04

Huangpu district in Guangzhou recently achieved a significant developmental milestone in one of its major projects.

The construction of the Sino-Singapore Science, Technology, Culture, and Arts Center (City Science Museum) project, located in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC), has made notable progress with the completion of its foundation. This marks a smooth advancement in the project's construction.

Occupying an area of approximately 27,000 square meters, with a construction area of about 72,000 sq m, this project encompasses a science and technology museum, a public art gallery, and a cultural museum.

The architectural design of this project is unique, drawing inspiration from cosmic nebulae. Emphasizing green and environmentally friendly principles, the project will become an ultra-low energy consumption green building.

Upon completion, the project will enhance the living experience in the CSGKC area. It aims to become a cultural living room near Jiulong Lake and will inject new vitality into the cultural development of the entire CSGKC, which will further drive the integration of culture and technology in the region.

This demonstrates the region's commitment and capability in promoting the integrated development of technology and culture.
