On Nov 28, Huangpu district announced the implementation of the Guangzhou Huangpu District Comprehensive Reform Experiment, which focuses on deepening the use and protection of intellectual property rights (IPR).
This policy has a three-year duration and aims to comprehensively enhance the creation, application, protection, and management of IPR.
The reform integrates existing IPR policies, which strengthens the current service system. New additions include the industrialization of high-value invention patents, IPR export services, and the protection of trade secrets.
The reform's focus on trade secrets and industry services that help enterprises "go global" emphasizes an industry-oriented approach that will support the implementation and transformation of corporate IPR.
As a national-level demonstration zone for IPR, Huangpu is committed to advancing comprehensive IPR reforms, which will drive the economic development of the region.
