Huangpu set to welcome new digital trade center

The Guangzhou Greater Bay Area Trade Digital Empowerment Center is set to be established in Huangpu district. 

The center is dedicated to using digital technology to integrate trade with industrial services, as well as digitalizing the traditional commerce sector, providing better digital services to businesses.

With the rich digital trade resources and policy support of Huangpu district, the pace of digitalization in trade will be accelerated through innovative measures aimed at promoting high-quality trade development. 

The center aims to become a new public service platform for the industry, featuring functions for showcasing trade transformation and shared office spaces and aspiring to be a model for global trade digitalization in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Shao Jingbo, deputy director of the Guangzhou Development District Administration Committee, indicated that the district's online retail platforms, digital trade platforms, digital service trade platforms, and IT digital trade enterprises will jointly support the construction and growth of the center. 

This initiative signifies that Guangzhou, known as the "millennial commercial capital," is empowering its trade with digitalization to write a new chapter in its development, further solidifying its status as a pioneer city in the innovation and development of trade.
