Ophthalmic hospital opens in Huangpu

Yinhai Ophthalmic Hospital, an affiliate of Yinhai Optics (Guangzhou) Group, recently opened in the Florence Center of China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC), Guangzhou. 

Covering an area of 15,000 square meters, the hospital specializes in the integration of traditional Chinese and Western ophthalmic practices. It is expected to provide residents with specialized and efficient medical services.

The inauguration of the hospital is part of Huangpu's efforts to develop its optics industry. 

Shao Jingbo, deputy director of the Guangzhou Development District's Administrative Committee, stated that the district aims to attract top-tier eye health research platforms and medical institutions and to further the development of the CSGKC Industrial Park. 

The district's ultimate goal is to establish itself as a crucial hub for the optics industry, he added.

Wu Guosheng, chairman of the Florence Group, stated that the group now plans to amplify its investment in the optometry and ophthalmology industries to foster innovation.

Additionally, as part of Yinhai Ophthalmic Hospital's supplementary facilities, an eye health science popularization center has been launched, targeting the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Occupying a space of 2,000 sq m, this modern center aims to enhance eye health awareness.
