Huangpu 'smart manufacturing' debuts at 134th Canton Fair

Huangpu, known as a major industrial base in Guangzhou, showcased its manufacturing prowess at the 134th China Import and Export Fair (commonly known as the Canton Fair).

This edition of the Canton Fair commenced on Oct 15 and will run through Nov 4, spanning three phases. It boasts an exhibition space of 1.55 million square meters, a record high. The fair has attracted over 4,900 first-time exhibitors and hundreds of thousands of international buyers.

Huangpu district is represented by 48 companies across 130 booths. During the first phase, which primarily focuses on industrial products, 28 enterprises from Huangpu are being exhibited. This includes businesses from the new energy, auto parts, and hardware sectors.

Making its debut in Guangzhou Yuliang Optoelectronic Technology, which introduced its outdoor wall lights and indoor lighting products, hoping to raise awareness of Huangpu's lighting manufacturing. Another notable exhibitor, Guangzhou Zonerich Business Machine, displayed its innovative portable office devices and AI meter-reading systems, which were well-received by buyers.

Guangdong Jiadele Technology participated in the fair once more, emphasizing its mechanical lubrication products. Representatives of the company said they are looking forward to further expanding into the European market.

At this year's Canton Fair, Huangpu's "smart manufacturing" has garnered much attention and acclaim from buyers. One buyer from Dubai remarked that the fair provides an efficient trading platform, and products from Huangpu are popular in his country.
