Guangzhou's Huangpu district was honored with the title of "National Base for Cultural Trade with Foreign Countries (Guangzhou)" on Oct 19, positioning it as a new hub for cultural exchange in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Spanning an area of 4.84 square kilometers, the base will advance the "Five Major Bases" strategy, encompassing specialized areas for talent, digital culture, cultural creation, intelligent manufacturing, and gaming.
This initiative aims to enhance international interactions and collaborations in the fields of culture and tourism, showcasing China's cultural prowess.
