Huangpu tops global smile city smart index 2022-2023

Guangzhou's Huangpu district recently ranked among the top ten in the "Global Smile City Top 100 Chinese New Smart City (SMILE Index)" for 2022-2023.

This ranking was based on a 10-month assessment of data from 804 cities. Huangpu district has boosted its urban construction with advanced technologies, achieving three-tier full coverage of the e-government network, launching several digital government service platforms and approval systems as well as piloting blockchain projects and integrated service platforms.

Beyond government services, the district has made remarkable achievements in the fields of smart transportation, municipal services, and healthcare. In the future, the district will further explore cutting-edge technologies, actively build a digital Huangpu, and aim to contribute more to the construction of smart cities in China.
