Huangpu secures $5.38b investment for advanced display production

Huangpu district in Guangzhou has successfully attracted TCL CSOT (TCL China Star Optoelectronics Technology) to set up its state-of-the-art 8.6th-generation semiconductor display production line. 

With a whopping investment of 35 billion yuan ($5.38 billion), this facility went operational in September last year. As a pioneer in China, the production line is dedicated to high-end IT and specialized display panels, forecasting an annual production value close to 30 billion yuan.

This move not only bolsters Guangzhou's pivotal role in the cutting-edge display industry but also highlights Huangpu's unwavering commitment to fostering technological advancements.
