Guangzhou's bio-island eyes expansion

Guangzhou International Bio-Island recently announced a new plan which will expand its total construction area to 2.4 million square meters, and later increase it to 3.55 million sq m.

The plan involves adjustments to five plots of land to ensure that key projects are prioritized, while also optimizing the traffic layout by adding external main roads that connect to Haizhu and Panyu. 

Public spaces will be enhanced, creating an ecological waterfront corridor and improving the island's living environment. 

The implementation of this plan is expected to further stimulate the development of the biopharmaceutical industry and contribute to Guangzhou's open and green development.
