The 13th Singapore-Guangdong Collaboration Council (SGCC) meeting was held at the Shangri-La Singapore on June 26, where China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC) signed 12 cooperation project contracts with an estimated total investment of over 3 billion yuan ($450 million).
The projects include the establishment of DBS Bank's third global technology innovation center in the China-Singapore Smart Park in CSGKC and a new technology delivery center that will be jointly built by NCS, an information technology company, and the CSGKC management committee.
The execution of these signed projects will further enhance the international influence and attractiveness of CSGKC and will have a positive impact on Guangdong and Singapore's economic development. These initiatives will further promote bilateral cooperation in fields such as technology innovation, talent cultivation, and biopharmaceutical development. This will inject new energy into the construction of the linkage development zone in the Guangdong pilot free trade zone.
At present, CSGKC has become an important window for comprehensive cooperation between China and Singapore. On this basis, both sides will continue to promote deep cooperation in more fields, providing a "two-way rush" to encourage more exchanges and cooperation between enterprises and talents from both regions.
