Guangzhou's major transportation projects make progress

The construction of three major transportation projects in Guangzhou, including the New Baiyun-Guangzhou Intercity Expressway, the Conghua-Huangpu Expressway, and the Zengcheng-Foshan Expressway (Zengcheng to Tianhe section), is progressing smoothly. 

The southern section of the New Baiyun-Guangzhou Intercity Expressway has completed power reception work for its traction substation and power distribution station. This lays the foundation for completing the project within the year. 

The structural engineering of the Conghua-Huangpu Expressway is 96 percent complete, and it is expected to be completed by the end of June. It is also planned to open to traffic this year. 

Additionally, tunneling work on the right side of the Liboao Tunnel, which is part of the Zengcheng-Foshan Expressway (Zengcheng to Tianhe section), has begun. 

The completion of these transportation projects will facilitate people's travel, strengthen the connection between Guangzhou and neighboring cities, and contribute to the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
