The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Bio-safety Innovation Port project in Guangzhou's Huangpu district was recently completed, finishing 21 days ahead of schedule.
This is the first industrial park in the country to be positioned for the pilot cultivation of bio-safety technology companies, and it will become a leading park in the country's bio-safety technology innovation industry.
The project covers a total land area of about 36,000 square meters and includes an integrated industrial park with standard factories, research and incubation buildings, and talent apartments. The innovative factory design has a floor height of 7 meters, which can accommodate more large-scale processing equipment.
The completion of the port will help Huangpu attract more bio-safety high-tech companies, promote industrial upgrading and transformation, and achieve high-quality technological innovation development.
Huangpu has gathered over 3,000 biopharmaceutical companies and has issued a series of preferential industrial policies to vigorously support strategic emerging industries such as biomedicine, aiming to provide up to 1 billion yuan ($154 million) in support for key companies.
