Huangpu promotes innovation with talent recruitment conference

On April 3, the first Talent Recruitment Conference in Huangpu district and the first Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Doctoral and Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Award-winning Project Event were held at China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC).

At the event, six projects from the fields of biomedical and health, high-end equipment manufacturing, and emerging new materials industries were presented. Young scientific and technological talents brought their innovative projects and financing needs to engage in in-depth exchanges with representatives of high-level talents and venture capital institutions in the district.

The "Talent Recruitment Conference" event series is a platform established by Huangpu to connect talent, projects, and capital. They aim to leverage the resource advantages of regional high-level talents and enterprises, and form an ecosystem for talents, entrepreneurs, and venture capital institutions.

In total, six projects that participated in the first Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Doctoral and Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were involved in the roadshow, with three of them winning gold awards. Their research areas involved high-end equipment manufacturing, biomedical and health, and new materials industries.

Currently, Huangpu is building a high-level talent hub in the Greater Bay Area. In the future, the "Talent Investment Meeting" activity series will launch more specialized sessions to attract more high-level innovative and entrepreneurial projects to settle in Huangpu.
