Huangpu launches new policy for integrated environmental approval

A news conference was recently held in Huangpu district, Guangzhou, to announce the "Integrated Approval of Pollutant Discharge Permit and Environmental Impact Assessment," which is a new e-filing policy system. 

This marks the first time in the country that an ecological and environmental comprehensive permit can be approved through "e-approval."

Huangpu has created and implemented a new model by integrating the pollutant discharge permit system and the environmental impact assessment system, marking deep integration progress. 

This policy will first be piloted in four key industries, including information technology, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, and food manufacturing, to promote reform and innovation.
