Huangpu showcases urban development while preserving cultural heritage

The 2023 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Urban Development and Cultural Heritage Protection Exchange event, recently held in Huangpu district in Guangzhou, brought together experts and officials to discuss high-quality urban development and historical and cultural heritage protection.

The event showcased the "Huangpu Top 10 Ancient Heritage Atlas" as well as two exhibitions: "Guangdong's Top 20 Most Beautiful Historical Streets" and "Guangzhou Huangpu's 10 Ancient Heritage Preservation Sites." 

Xingfuli in Wenchong Street, Huangpu district, was highlighted at the event for integrating its urban renewal projects with its historical and cultural heritage protection efforts, exemplifying the district's commitment to preserving its past while fostering development.
