Huangpu adds another national 4A tourist attraction

The Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism recently titled eight tourist attractions in Guangzhou as National 4A Tourist Attractions. 

Among them is the Whampoa Military Academy Memorial Hall in Huangpu district, which is dedicated to preserving the architecture and history of the Whampoa Military Academy, while also showcasing its development history.

Established in 1984, the memorial hall has received various titles, including the national patriotism education demonstration base and the national defense education demonstration base. The site largely preserves and restores the academy's original teaching and living environments, with over 20 historical relics still existing today.
