Amway announces expansion, R&D collaboration in Huangpu

Amway China announced that it will make a 600-million-yuan ($88-million) investment to upgrade its production base in Huangpu district, Guangzhou on March 21, during a ceremony marking the expansion project's launch and the signing of a cooperation agreement for a shared R&D center and health platform.

This marks Amway's 10th expansion in Huangpu, which is one of the most concentrated areas for foreign-funded enterprises in Guangzhou and other southern areas of China. The district has attracted over $2 billion in foreign investment each year for six consecutive years and has ranked first among national economic development zones for the last five years.
