Major projects in CSGKC, Yuzhu area begin construction

Construction has recently begun on the Guangzhou-Macao Quality Innovation Port project in China-Singapore-Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC).

This is one of Guangdong province's key projects for this year's first quarter, and it has been jointly invested in and constructed by GDD Investment Group and the Macau Youth Innovation International Group.

Located in the southwest area of Phoenix Lake, it has a land area of about 21,000 square meters and a construction area of about 100,000 sq m.

All of the project's features, such as the Guangzhou-Macao quality service center (incubator), a talent training center, an R&D building, a conference center, and a big data center, will focus on quality certification once put into operation.

In the future, the port will work with the Macao Quality Brand International Certification League and other units to jointly build a new carrier for Huangpu's quality certification service industry cluster. This will facilitate the quality certification of the intelligent manufacturing and advanced manufacturing industries in the district.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Innovation Center, another key project, was held on Feb 18.

The project is located in the Yuzhu area and has a total investment of about 18.3 billion yuan ($2.65 billion). This project is set to build office buildings, hotels, apartments, and innovative commercial complexes.
