Huangpu builds dragon boat culture theme park

To further promote Nangang Street's centuries-old dragon boat culture in Huangpu district, Nangang is building Nangang Dragon Boat Cultural Theme Park.

The park has completed the first phase of construction and is accelerating the second phase of construction.

At present, the first phase of the park, which is located at No 86 Funan Road, covers an area of 60,000 square meters, including the Nangang Exhibition Hall, as well as Dragon Boat Culture and Sports Park, which has opened to the public. The total construction area of the Nangang Dragon Boat Culture Exhibition Center exceeds 2000 sq m.

The second phase of the park covers an area of about 12,000 sq m. It will include the further building of an ecological lake, a dragon boat rowing area, football fields, basketball courts, and table tennis courts. It is expected to be completed by the end of March this year.

In the future, Nangang Street will create a scenic belt themed around dragon boat culture, as well as carry out Nangang cultural experience park activities based on the theme park.
