Huangpu gains another intellectual property promotion center

The China Automotive Intellectual Property Application Promotion Center, jointly established by Huangpu district and the China Automotive Technology and Research Center, recently settled in and began operation in the Intellectual Property Service Park in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City.

The center will rely on the professional technology and industrial advantages of the China Automotive Technology and Research Center to innovate and build two data supply and demand platforms.

The global automotive patent big data platform provides one-stop services to 105 countries and regions around the world, using advanced technologies such as visual interaction and 3D automobiles. 

At the same time, the center has expanded into innovative businesses such as intellectual property trading and the transformation of sci-tech achievements. It has applied for and received more than 1,000 patents per year, of which 80 percent were invention patents.

On Jan 5, the 5th-anniversary celebration of Bio Island Laboratory and the opening ceremony of its new R&D building were held in Guangzhou's International Bio Island.

The new R&D building is located in Building C, Phase IV of the Guangzhou International Bio Island Standard Industrial Unit, and has an area of about 17,000 square meters.

The building will build joint research centers with universities and leading enterprises, incubate sci-tech enterprises, and become a permanent base for Bio Island Laboratory to carry out achievement transformation and industrial incubation.

Bio Island Laboratory will continue to promote the transformation of achievements and inject new vitality into the development of the biomedical industry in Guangzhou and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
