Huangpu to push industrial output value over $148b in 2025

At present, Guangzhou's Huangpu district is promoting the "trillion manufacturing" plan and plans to achieve a total industrial output value of more than 1 trillion yuan ($148 billion) by 2025.

Over the years, Huangpu's manufacturing industry has made a series of achievements.

With only 6.5 percent of Guangzhou's land area, the district has created nearly 40 percent of Guangzhou's industrial output value.

It has the most integrated circuit industry chain in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, has built a 100-billion-yuan-level display industry cluster, and has the leading biomedical industry on the mainland.

Huangpu is the first district in Guangzhou with an investment intensity of more than 6 percent. It has more than 3,600 high-tech enterprises and a technology incubator area of more than 5 million square meters.
