12th Business of IP Asia Forum sub-event kicks off in Huangpu

Recently, the Intellectual Property Empowers New Frontiers, Transformation of Achievements Helps Development event, which is a sub-forum of the 12th Business of IP Asia Forum, was held online in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC).

The sub-forum was linked to a sub-forum in Hong Kong and broadcasted simultaneously around the globe to a  total of 17,000 online viewers.

This is the fifth year that Huangpu district has participated in organizing the Business of IP Asia Forum, which strives to strengthen the synergistic mechanism for the transformation of intellectual property achievements in the Guangdong- Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.

The sub-forum of the 12th Business of IP Asia Forum kicks off online in CSGKC.

The event promotes the high-quality development of emerging industries in the Greater Bay Area and leads the way in international property rights (IPR) operations and the transformation of technological achievements.

CSGKC is the only comprehensive reform pilot zone for the use and protection of intellectual property rights approved by the State Council in China.

In recent years, it has developed the intellectual property rights business steadily and continues to open up to the outside world and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation with Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.

Huangpu is promoting the collaborative innovation of science and technology between Guangzhou and Hong Kong, insisting on all-around openness to the outside world, and is taking multiple measures to promote various IPR projects.

In the future, Huangpu will accelerate mutual recognition and interoperability between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao in various areas of IPR, and explore new cooperation in IPR, to help build the Greater Bay Area into a global IPR hub.
