Huangpu manufacturing industries nourished by foreign capital in 2022

As the main battlefield of Guangzhou's real economy, Huangpu district signed a contract to introduce 220 projects in the first three quarters of this year, with 278 registered in total.

The total investment of the registered projects was 116 billion yuan ($17 billion), with the manufacturing industry accounting for nearly 40 percent.

In the first three quarters, the amount of foreign capital deployed in the manufacturing industry in the district leapt 187 percent year-on-year. The corresponding figure for high-tech manufacturing increased 4.2 times over the same period.
