Huangpu releases measures to support catering industry

The Measures for Promoting the High-quality Development of the Catering Industry in Guangzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Guangzhou Development District, Huangpu District, Guangzhou was recently released.

The measures include four key items to support the development and growth of the catering industry, enhance brand capabilities, build characteristic parks, as well as encourage intelligent upgrades. It is more innovative than other support policies for the catering industry, with the district's comprehensive support to the industry ranking first in the country.

The measures also state that eligible catering enterprises can receive up to 6 million yuan ($839,000) in support funds.

Huangpu's Zhitai Plaza is home to many restaurants.
