The workshop is a key construction project in Guangzhou, as it is also the first new industrial plant project with a high plot ratio and high mixing function in the western area of Guangzhou Development District and the Guangzhou-Hong Kong smart manufacturing special cooperation zone.
The project mainly focuses on the construction of international high-end smart manufacturing, with a total land area of about 59,000 square meters and a total construction area of 290,000 sqm. It will cover scientific and technological research and development, industrial production, scientific and technological innovation services, logistics and warehousing, offices, living accommodations, as well as other functions.
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area National Institute for Nanotechnology Innovation (Guangna Institute) has settled in the Nano Biosafety Center.
It is a high-level innovation research institute jointly established by Guangzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone and the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, which settled in Guangzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone in 2019.
Since its establishment, the institute has introduced five academician teams and nearly 20 outstanding young talents. It has gathered nearly 800 high-level scientific research teams, industrialized 22 major projects, incubated 12 high-tech enterprises, applied for 230 international and domestic patents, as well as built a full chain of nanotechnology innovations.
The Affiliated High School of South China Normal University (CSGKC Campus) is located in the South Start-up Area of CSGKC, covering a land area of 190,000 sqm and a total construction area of 300,000 sqm.
