The Huangpu Research Institute of Guangzhou University is speeding up its construction.
At present, Buildings A, B, and F of the school functional area A have been capped. The basement of Zone B is under construction, with nearly 600 builders participating in the construction. The entire institute is expected to be completed by June 30, 2024.
With a total construction area of 384,593.5 square meters, the institute is expected to accommodate 5,800 teachers and students. It is a smart campus integrating teaching, scientific research, life, as well as communication needs.
Upon completion, the project will take the "information + intelligence" innovation hub as the core, helping Huangpu district build clusters for new-generation information technology, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and other high-tech industries. It is also expected to serve as a technological innovation source and talent hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
