Huangpu's 1st 3A-grade women and children's hospital opens

Affiliated Women and Children's Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University.

On Sept 28, the Affiliated Women and Children's Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University was put into operation, becoming the first 3A-grade women and children's hospital in Huangpu district.

The hospital is located at No 55 Changxian Road, Changling Street in Huangpu district. As a municipal and district-level key project, the hospital started construction in 2019. The first phase of the hospital has 500 beds and covers a total construction area of about 76,000 square meters.

The hospital will build a women and children's medical center, as well as a high-level scientific research and innovation platform. It will also effectively improve the level of maternal and child health services in eastern Guangzhou.

During its trial operation period, the hospital will set up departments covering gynecology, obstetrics, prenatal diagnosis, reproductive medicine, pediatrics, and child health care. Patients can make reservations in advance through the hospital's official WeChat account or website.
