As midsummer arrives, flowers like lotuses, phoenix flowers, sunshine tree flowers, and bauhinias have entered their blooming season, creating picturesque views. Here are the best places to see these flowers in Huangpu.

1. Lotuses

Liantang Ancient Village

68 Fotian South Road, Liantang village (Liantang village committee)

Dajisha Island

Take Metro Line 13 and get off at Shuanggang station, walk for 10 minutes to Wuchong Wharf and take a boat to the island.

Luogang Xiangxue Park

Take bus No 327 or 333, get off at Luogang station, and walk for seven minutes.

Dongyuan Park

Take Metro Line 5 to Dashadi, and walk from exit C.

Chuangye Park

Take bus No 506A, 534, 575, 508, 573, 395 or 327 to Citizen Square station or Luogang Conference Center station.

Dafeigang Park of Shenjing Ancient Village

At Anxin Road and Changzhou Street, visitors can cross the river by ferry from Yuzhu Port or drive directly to the island from Panyu University Town. Taking a passenger ship from Xinzhou Port in Haizhu is also an option.

Take bus No 383 or 361 in University Town to Changzhou Island.
