Established in 2008, Huangpu-based Medprin Regenerative Medical Technologies is a domestic leading innovative technology company focusing on high-performance implanted medical devices that have now entered the global high-end market.

The company has developed several eye-catching implanted medical devices, such as the artificial dural or spinal patch and the craniomaxillofacial repair system, in recent years. It has also established several advanced manufacturing technology platforms in other fields including stomatology, general surgery, and hemostasis.

Yuan Yuyu, chairman and founder of the company, noted that Guangzhou Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone exempted his company from rent for three years, helping the company overcome difficulties.

The company's artificial endocranium is made of over 10,000 layers of nanofiber membrane in a form that is highly similar to the microstructure of the human endocranium, according to Deng Kunxue, an R&D engineer in the company. 

Yuan said that China has a huge demand in the medical devices field due to its large population, yet most of the devices, especially high-performance ones, are monopolized by overseas industrial giants. 

He added that the company's new headquarters will have an over 10,000-square-meter area for research and development, further increasing production capacity.
