With the autumn semester around the corner, the Huangpu education bureau calls upon local teachers, students and parents to abide by the following rules:
1. All teachers and students should avoid unnecessary travel outside of Guangdong province, especially to medium- and high-risk COVID-19 areas.
2. All teachers and students should return to their place of residence in Huangpu 14 days before the new term and may be subject to health monitoring. Those returning from outside of Guangdong should receive a nucleic acid test after arriving in Guangzhou.
3. Teachers and students having already left Guangdong should monitor their health conditions within 14 days after their return. Those having been to cities with medium- and high-risk areas should report to their residential communities and cooperate with health management measures.
4. Teachers and students from medium- and high-risk areas, and areas under enclosed management or exit restrictions should not return to schools until the areas are downgraded to low risk, or are removed from enclosed management or exit restrictions.
5. Teachers and students with suspected symptoms should report their health conditions to residential communities and schools, and seek immediate medical attention at nearby fever clinics.
6. Teachers and students should strengthen their personal protection by wearing masks, washing hands frequently, keeping their residences well-ventilated, practicing social distancing and avoid gatherings.
7. Eligible students aged between 12 and 17 years old are encouraged to receive vaccinations as soon as possible.
