Nanfang Plus: More than 80% of Huangpu targeted groups vaccinated

As of 9 pm May 28, Guangzhou's Huangpu district had delivered more than 1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine to 765,049 people. The vaccination rate of targeted groups had reached 81.65 percent, according to the Huangpu health bureau.

The district has 35 fixed vaccination sites which as of May 29 only accept online reservations. Various thoughtful services are on offer at different sites. The vaccination site at Yunpu Sub-district Party-Mass Service Center offers free pick-up service for people that make group reservations, and passerbys can also catch a ride on their way. The tennis center at Lianhe sub-district provides sunshade, drinking water and lunch for waiting people.

All sites have been offering nighttime services until 8:30 pm since May 23. Vaccination is available 12 hours per day, Mondays to Sundays, until the site runs out of vaccine stock.

In addition, five mobile teams of Guangzhou Development District Hospital, Huangpu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Luogang Red Cross Hospital, Lianhe Sub-district Community Health Service Center and Changzhou Sub-district Community Health Service Center provide door-to-door vaccination services to enterprises, colleges and industrial parks of a certain scale. Nearly 70,000 doses had been delivered to employees of 15 enterprises door to door as of 9 pm May 28.
