Spring Festival 'blooms' for foreigner in Guangzhou

With Spring Festival just around the corner, some foreigners in China share their experiences and stories of Chinese New Year, as well as their lives in China.

Peter Helis is a foreigner living in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province. He feels "lucky" to celebrate Chinese New Year, as the holiday starts not long after his grandest festival – Christmas.
