Guangzhou Daily: Huangpu most demonstrative in business environment innovation

Guangzhou's Huangpu district was recognized as China's best demonstration zone for business environment reform and innovation at the 15th China Xiaokang Forum, which took place in Zhongshan, Guangdong province on Dec 26.

Founded in 2005, the forum is the sole national large forum themed on Xiaokang, a development goal that encapsulates Chinese people's aspirations for a better life.

Under that drive, Huangpu has long been committed to improving its business environment through institutional renovation, optimized government service and streamlined administrative approval.

Huangpu is recognized as China's best demonstration zone for business environment reform and renovation during the 15th China Xiaokang Forum.

The district has set up a business environment reform bureau, a private economy and enterprise service bureau, a government service data management bureau and an intellectual property bureau to advance the undertakings.

A series of policies promoting business environment reform innovation and encouraging market entities to take part in business environment construction was released.

In addition, Huangpu took the lead in the country to offer "Smart Government Service + New Postal Service" as well as "Blockchain + AI" business service modes.

This year, the district ranked 1st among national economic and technological development zones in the business environment index. Its business environment reform measures were selected into Annual Chinese Reform Cases on behalf of Guangdong.
